Public consultation centres on Yonge and Highway 7 rapid transit, June 17 and 18

York Region Transit and viva have organized two public consultation centres on the proposal to extend the Yonge Street subway from Finch Station to Highway 7 and the Highway 7 Rapidways, from Yonge Street to Kennedy Road on Tuesday, June 17 and Wednesday, June 18.

The open houses and presentations take place at the Premiere Ballroom and Convention Centre, 9019 Leslie Street in Richmond Hill:

  • open house from 4 until 9 p.m.
  • Highway 7 Rapidways (bus rapid transit) presentation at 6 p.m.
  • Yonge Street subway presentation at 7 p.m.
