Kipling Station open house, June 19

The Kipling Station Improvement Project is a joint project of the TTC, GO Transit and Mississauga Transit to create a major transit hub in the west end of Toronto.

The TTC is hosting a public information open house to help passenger learn about the TTC’s portion of the project on Thursday, June 19. The open house takes place from 4 to 7 p.m. in the bus terminal level of the station.

At the event, you can learn about the TTC’s plans to build a new automated eastern entrance to the station, a new 25-vehicle passenger pick-up and drop-off area, a new four-vehicle taxi stand and to expand the current terminal by two bays to accommodate more buses. Project staff will be available to answer your questions.

After the whole project is complete In 2010, Mississauga Transit and GO Transit buses will operate from a new 14-bay inter-regional terminal at Kipling Station.

(If you’re interested in attending the information open house, but not interested in travelling by bus, ask the station fare booth attendant how you can get free access to the bus terminal to view the display materials or let project staff know your views on the proposals.)
