Ambulances transported at least two people to hospital after two TTC streetcars operating on the 501 Queen route crashed at the edge of High Park around 6 p.m. yesterday, Saturday, June 21.
Police say one car ran into the back of another on the Queensway at Colborne Lodge Drive. Several people — mostly on the car that was hit — reportedly complained of minor neck injuries.
This is the second time in less than two weeks that streetcars have collided. A westbound car on the 505 Dundas line struck an eastbound car, which suddenly turned northward along Bay Street around 6 a.m. on June 11.
