Mississauga Transit changes start June 30



Mississauga Transit buses will start operating on summer schedules on Monday, June 30. Also on that day, MT starts daily service to Canada’s Wonderland.


Specifically, MT will: increase service hours of seasonal routes; cancel services to high schools; adjust the schedules of current routes.


The changes affect these routes: 1 Dundas; 7 Airport; 31 Folkway — Homelands; 34 Credit Valley; 82 Financial — Argentia; 201 Dundas Express; 288 Wonderland Express; 301 Philip Pocock-Tomken; 302 Philip Pocock-Bloor; 303 Father Goetz-Square One; 304 Father Goetz-Mississauga Valley; 305 Streetsville Secondary-Falconer; 306 Streetsville Secondary-Square One; 307 St. Aloysius Gonzaga; 308 St. Joseph-Eglinton; 309 St. Joseph-Square One; 310 Clarkson Secondary-Winston Churchill; 312 Gordon Graydon-Square One; 314 Rick Hanson-Donway; 315 Rick Hanson-Square One; 316 St. Francis Xavier; 317 Clarkson-Erindale Secondary; 318 Cawthra Secondary-Square One; 328 Cawthra Secondary-Square One; 334 St. Joseph.


Increase service hours of seasonal routes

288 Wonderland Express:

Starting Monday, June 30 express buses start operating between the Mississauga City Centre Terminal at Square One and Canada’s Wonderland seven days a week.


Cancel services to high schools

Mississauga Transit ends service on most high school routes this week. Most routes do not resume until Tuesday, September 2. Some routes resume on Thursday, July 3 for summer school passengers.

Adjust the schedules of current routes

1 Dundas:

Starting Monday, June 30, the bus operating on the Monday-to-Friday eastbound trip that currently leaves Dundas Street West and Erin Mills Parkway at 4:26 a.m. will leave Laird and Vega Drives at 4:18 a.m. The bus operating on the Monday-to-Friday eastbound trip that currently leaves Dundas and Erin Mills at 4:26 a.m. will leave Laird and Vega Drives at 4:18 am. A bus will leave Dundas Street West and Erindale Station Road on a new westbound trip at 4 a.m.

7 Airport:

Starting Monday, June 30, the bus operating on the Monday-to-Friday southbound trip that currently leaves Westwood Mall at 8:09 p.m. will leave two minutes earlier at 8:07 p.m.

31 Folkway — Homelands:

Starting Monday, June 30, the Monday-to-Friday northbound buses leaving Sheridan Centre at 4:42 and 5:25 p.m. will operate on new schedules.

34 Credit Valley:

Starting Monday, June 30, the bus operating on the Monday-to-Friday eastbound trip that currently leaves Erin Mills Town Centre at 4:59 a.m. will leave 8 minutes earlier at 4:51 a.m.

82 Financial — Argentia:

Starting Monday, June 30, the bus operating on the Monday-to-Friday eastbound trip that currently leaves Islington Station at 6:48 a.m. will leave 8 minutes earlier at 6:40 a.m.

201 Dundas Express:

Starting Monday, June 30, buses will operate on new schedules.
