Ti-Cat fans can ride the bus to the game for free tonight

You can ride any Hamilton Street Railway bus for free to tonight’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats season home opener against the Montreal Alouettes at 7 p.m. — if you hold a valid ticket to the game. With the HSR’s Ticket to Ride program, you can ride free of fare to Ivor Wynne Stadium for as much as three hours before game time and free of fare from the stadium until the end of service tonight.

Four free Tiger-Cats Express shuttles will also speedily transport ticket-holders from four terminals across the city to the stadium and back again after the game is over. The shuttles operate from Limeridge Mall, Eastgate Square, University Plaza and downtown Hamilton. You can read the schedule for tonight’s shuttle service here. (.pdf)

You can also ride D.A.R.T.S (Disabled and Aged Regional Transportation System) buses free if you hold a valid ticket to the game.
