Two major construction projects closed Bathurst Street between St. Clair Avenue West and Bathurst Station to most traffic, starting yesterday morning, Wednesday, July 2:
- the City of Toronto and TTC project to rebuild the streetcar tracks along Bathurst Street, south of St. Clair Avenue West; and
- the City project to construct watermains along Bathurst Street south of Dupont Street.
The TTC is further diverting buses on the 7B Bathurst and 310 Bathurst (overnight) routes during this phase of the two projects.
7B Bathurst:
Southbound start their trips at St. Clair West Station, then proceed:
westward along St. Clair Avenue West;
southward along Christie Street;
eastward along Bloor Street West; and then
northward along Bathurst Street to Bathurst Station.Northbound buses reverse this routing.
310 Bathurst (overnight):
Southbound buses operate along their regular route to Bathurst Street and St. Clair Avenue West, then detour:
westward along St. Clair Avenue West;
southward along Christie Street; and then
eastward along Bloor Street West to Bathurst Street;
resuming their regular route southward along Bathurst.Northbound buses reverse this routing.
Buses on the 310 Bathurst route continue to operate every 30 minutes from about 2 until 5 a.m., but the detour results in buses arriving at individual stops at different times than usual.
You can see a map of the revised detour here. (.pdf)
