Mississauga event affects transit service, July 17



Tomorrow morning and afternoon, the City of Mississauga will close Robert Speck Parkway East between Hurontario Street and Shipp Drive to accommodate a tenant appreciation barbecue event.

Mississauga Transit will detour bus services during the event. The detour affects these routes: 53 Kennedy; 74 City Centre Shuttle; 76 Square One — Subway.


74 City Centre Shuttle:

From 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., on Thursday, July 17, buses operate along their regular route to Rathburn Roads West and Civic Centre Drive, then detour:

eastward along Rathburn Roads West and East; and then
southward along Shipp Drive to Robert Speck Parkway East,
resuming their regular route southward along Robert Speck.

53 Kennedy:

From 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., on Thursday, July 17, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Meadows Boulevard and Robert Speck Parkway East, then detour:

southward along Robert Speck;
eastward along Burnhamthorpe Roads East; and then
northward along Hurontario Street to Robert Speck,
resuming their regular route westward along Robert Speck Parkway West.

Northbound buses reverse this routing.

76 Square One — Subway:

From 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., on Thursday, July 17, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Robert Speck Parkway West and Hurontario Street, then detour:

southward along Hurontario; and then
eastward along Burnhamthorpe Road East to Robert Speck,
resuming their regular route eastward along Burnhamthorpe.

Westbound buses reverse this routing.
