July 29, August 6, 7

Update — August 31: You can view the presentation from the meeting here. (.pdf)

Next week, the City of Toronto and the TTC will host two public information centres as part of the environmental assessment protection for the next Transit City light rail transit line.

The Etobicoke Finch West LRT will link the current Finch Station and the future Finch West Station on the 1 Yonge — University — Spadina subway to North Etobicoke near Finch Avenue West and Highway 27.

The proposed line will connect with the proposed Jane LRT and also serve Humber College’s North Campus. It could also possibly extend westerly into Mississauga and Brampton or southerly to Woodbine racetrack and Toronto Pearson International Air Terminal.

You can review the plans for the proposed line and comment on the proposals at three information meetings, taking place from 6:30 until 9 p.m. on:

Tuesday, July 29,
North York Memorial Community Hall,
5110 Yonge Street, beside Mel Lastman Square
and the North York Civic Centre.

and

Wednesday, August 6,
Jane — Finch Mall,
1911 Finch Avenue West.

and

Thursday, August 7
Elmbank Community Centre
10 Rampart Road
east off Martin Grove Road,
south of Finch.
