Starting in just a few minutes — at 9 a.m. today, Friday, July 25 — the City of Toronto will restrict traffic at the intersection of Bathurst and Dupont Streets throughout the weekend. The City is partially closing the intersection to allow City and TTC crews to reconstruct the streetcar tracks along Bathurst. The intersection will be closed until early Tuesday.
The TTC will detour bus service on the 7B Bathurst, 26 Dupont and 310 Bathurst (overnight) routes during the construction.
7B Bathurst310 Bathurst (overnight)Southbound buses start their trips at St. Clair West Station, then proceed:
westward along St. Clair Avenue West;
southward along Bathurst Street;
eastward along Davenport Road;
southward along Kendal Avenue;
eastward along Macpherson Avenue; and then
southward along Spadina Road to Spadina Station,
where the buses end their trips.Northbound buses start their trips at Spadina Station, then proceed:
northward along Spadina Road;
westward along Davenport Road;
northward along Bathurst Street; and then
eastward along St. Clair Avenue West,
where the buses end their trips.TTC buses operating on the 7B Bathurst route have followed this detour since July 14.
26 DupontSouthbound buses operate along their regular route to Bathurst Street and St. Clair Avenue West, then detour:
westward along St. Clair;
southward along Christie Street; and then
eastward along Bloor Street West to Bathurst Street,
resuming their regular route southward along Bathurst.Northbound buses reverse this routing.
TTC buses operating on the 310 Bathurst (overnight) route have followed this detour since July 3.
From 9 a.m. on Friday, July 25 until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Dupont and Christie Streets, then detour:
northward along Christie;
eastward along Davenport Road; and then
southward along Spadina Road to Dupont,
resuming their regular route eastward along Dupont.Westbound buses operate along their regular route to Dupont Street and Spadina Road, then detour:
northward along Spadina;
westward along Macpherson Avenue;
northward along Kendal Avenue;
westward along Davenport Road; and then
southward along Christie Street to Dupont,
resuming their regular route westward along Dupont Street.
