Guelph Transit detours buses during construction



Guelph Transit started two detours around City of Guelph construction projects on Monday, August 11.

54 Arkell

Until Friday, September 19, the City will reconstruct Arkell Road between Gordon Street and Victoria Road South.

Outbound buses (buses traveling away from downtown Guelph) will operate along their regular route to Gordon Street and Arkell Road, then detour:

southbound along Gordon;
eastward along Lowes Road;
north-, west- and southward along Pine Ridge Drive;
eastward along Jenson Boulevard; and then
south- and eastward along Summerfield Drive to Victoria Road South,
resuming their regular route southward along Victoria.

22 Conestoga

Until Friday, August 15, the City will close Speedvale Avenue West between Dawson Road and Silvercreek Parkway North to connect services to a nearby property.

Inbound buses (buses traveling toward downtown Guelph) operate along their regular route to Silvercreek and Campbell Road, then detour:

eastward along Campbell; and then
southbound along Dawson Road to Willow Road,
resuming their regular route eastbound along Willow.

Outbound buses (buses traveling away from downtown Guelph) operate along their regular route to Willow and Dawson Roads, then detour:

westward along Willow; and then
northward along Silvercreek Parkway North to Speedvale Avenue West,
resuming their regular route westward along Speedvale.
