The TTC will increase service along many of its routes, when it launches its fall schedules on Sunday, August 31.
Specifically, the TTC will: revise current routes; increase service on current routes; decrease service on current routes; increase service to colleges and universities; cancel or decrease seasonal service; change a seasonal route to a permanent route; resume services to high schools; and adjust the schedules of current routes.

Revise current routes
29 Dufferin329 Dufferin (overnight) 316 Ossington (overnight)Starting Tuesday, September 2, buses operating southward from Wilson Station resume service into Exhibition Place south of the Dufferin Gate on the 29D branch to the Princes’ Gate. Buses have not operated on this branch since the Canadian National Exhibition opened on Friday, August 15. Monday-to-Friday rush-hour short-turn buses operating southward from Wingold Avenue continue to turn at the Dufferin Gate Loop. The TTC will not operate buses along the 29B branch to Ontario Place until next summer.
Starting Wednesday, September 3, buses resume operating along their regular route into Exhibition Place. Buses have operated along a temporary route since the Canadian National Exhibition opened on Friday, August 15.
Increase service on current routes
192 Airport Rocket6 BayStarting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC increases service during Monday-to-Friday morning rush hours from every 22 minutes 30 seconds to every 15 minutes. With this change, TTC buses operate along the route every nine to fifteen minutes at all times of the week.
9 BellamyStarting Saturday, September 6, the TTC continues to operate buses Saturday, Sunday and holiday evenings. (This is the first fall since 1996 that the TTC has operated Saturday, Sunday and holiday evening service on the route. Since 1996, the TTC has only provided weekend evening service during the summer.) Seven days a week, the last southbound bus leaves Davenport Road and Dupont Street at 10:11 p.m. Seven days a week, the last northbound bus leaves Lower Jarvis Street and Queens Quay East at 10:36 p.m.
2 Bloor - Danforth subwayStarting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC increases the service during Monday-to-Friday peak periods from every 18 minutes to every 15 minutes.
20 CliffsideStarting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC increases the service from about 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Mondays to Fridays from every 4 minutes 53 seconds to every 4 minutes 15 seconds. It also increases the service early Monday-to-Friday evenings before 10 p.m. from every 4 minutes 52 seconds to every 4 minutes 4 seconds.
108 DownsviewStarting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC increases the service during Monday-to-Friday morning rush hours from every 13 minutes to every 11 minutes.
144 Downtown / Don Valley ExpressStarting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC resumes full service on the route. The TTC reduced the service in June because fewer passengers ride the route during the summer.
34 Eglinton EastStarting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC increases service during Monday-to-Friday morning rush hours. It operates one more southbound bus, leaving York Mills Road and Victoria Park Avenue at 7:45 a.m.
The TTC also adjusts the schedule of the route.
32 Eglinton WestStarting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC will operate a new Monday-to-Friday trip, leaving Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East at 3:35 p.m. to reduce crowding during the afternoon dismissal time at Northern Secondary School.
36 Finch WestStarting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC increases the service from about 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.
Monday-to-Friday morning rush hours, the TTC increases the frequency of service on each of the 32A (between Eglinton Station and Reforth or Skymark) and 32C (traveling along Eglinton Avenue West and Trethewey Drive between Eglinton Station and Jane and Lawrence) branches so that buses operate every 4 minutes 20 seconds along the route. It increases the frequency of service on the 32D branch (between Eglinton West Station and Jane and Emmett) to every 8 minutes 40 seconds. It increases service west of Skymark Avenue on the 32B branch (between Eglinton Station and the Airport Corporate Centre) to every 17 minutes 20 seconds. Along the common part of the route between Keele Street / Trethewey Drive and Eglinton West Station, the TTC operates buses every 1 minute 44 seconds. Along the common part of the route between Eglinton West and Eglinton Stations, the TTC operates buses every 2 minutes 10 seconds.

Saturday mornings, the TTC increases service on the common part of the route south of Steeles Avenue from every 5 minutes 20 seconds to every 5 minutes. The TTC will also decrease the service north of Steeles on Saturday mornings.

102 Markham RoadStarting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC resumes full service on the route. The TTC reduced the service in June because fewer passengers ride the route during the summer.
116 MorningsideStarting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC increases service midday — from about 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Mondays to Fridays — on the 102D branch between Warden Station and Mount Joy GO Station. It operates buses every 30 minutes instead of every 60 minutes.
Starting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC increases service during Monday-to-Friday rush hours.

Starting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC only operates buses on the 172A branch. Buses operate every 30 minutes during Monday-to-Saturday evenings and all day on Sundays and holidays, and every 15 minutes during the daytime on Saturdays. Buses operate until about 1 a.m. seven days a week.
35 JaneStarting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC revises service during most times of the week because the number of passengers on the route decreases after the summer. Fewer passengers travel along the route to and from the waterfront and the Canadian National Exhibition. Mondays to Fridays, the TTC operates streetcars along the route every 8 to 9 minutes before 10 p.m. and every 15 minutes after 10 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the TTC operates streetcars every 9 to 12 minutes during the daytime and every 12 to 15 minutes during the evenings.
The TTC’s summertime fare collection procedure at Harbourfront also ends on Labour Day, Monday, September 1. Starting Tuesday, September 2, TTC drivers again collect fares when you board streetcars at stops along Queens Quay West.
40 JunctionStarting Saturday, September 6, the TTC decreases service north of Steeles Avenue from every 21 minutes 20 seconds to every 30 minutes on Saturday mornings. The TTC also increases service at many other times of the week.

86 ScarboroughLabour Day, Monday, September 1, is the last day this year that the TTC operates its seasonal Saturday, Sunday and holiday service extending the route into High Park. Starting Tuesday, September 2, all buses at all times of the week end their trips at High Park Station.

Change a seasonal route to a permanent regular route
101 Parc Downsview ParkStarting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC changes this route from a seasonal, summer-only route to a regular route. It will operate buses along the route seven days a week all year long.
Resume services to high schools
The TTC operates many special branches of regular routes to accommodate passengers traveling to or from high schools. It usually doesn’t promote these services on its schedules or information unless it makes changes to them.
Here are three high school branches that the TTC is revising or introducing on Tuesday, September 2.
34 Eglinton East
Starting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC will operate a new Monday-to-Friday trip, leaving Mount Pleasant Road and Eglinton Avenue East at 3:35 p.m. to reduce crowding during the afternoon dismissal time at Northern Secondary School.

Starting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC changes the times of northbound trips that buses leave Neil McNeil Catholic Secondary School during Monday-to-Friday afternoon rush hours to match the dismissal times at the school.

Starting Tuesday, September 2, the TTC adjusts the schedule to accommodate passengers travelling to Saint Jean de Brebeuf Catholic High School. The southbound bus that currently leaves Canada Drive at 7:53 a.m. Mondays to Fridays will serve the stops between Canada Drive and Ashberry Boulevard a few minutes earlier than currently. Monday-to-Friday afternoons, the TTC will operate one more bus on the route. The bus will leave Weston Road and Steeles Avenue at 2:12 p.m. and travel northbound to Canada Drive. It will leave Canada Drive at 2:48 p.m. and travel southbound along the route.
