The Town of Markham re-opened John Street in Thornhill between Henderson and Bayview Avenues on Wednesday, August 27.
York Region Transit buses operating on the 2 Milliken route will resume their regular route along John Street on Tuesday, September 2.
The Town closed John on Monday, April 7 when Town staff inspected the roadway to repair potholes. They discovered that the John Street bridge over the east branch of the Don River needed major repairs.
