Oshawa detour starts September 8



On Monday, September 8, the City of Oshawa will start a project to repave Beatrice Street East between Wilson and Ritson Roads North. The City intends to finish the work by Friday, September 19.

Durham Region Transit will detour bus service during the project.

5 Central Park

Southbound buses operate along their regular route to Attersley Drive and Wilson Road North, then detour:

southbound along Wilson;
west- and southward along Terrace Drive; and then
westward along Mayfair Avenue to Central Park Boulevard North,
resuming their regular route southbound along Central Park.

Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Central Park Boulevard North and Highgate Avenue, then detour:

westward along Highgate; and then
northward along Ritson Road North to Beatrice Street East,
resuming their regular route northward along Ritson.

434 Eastdale High School Special

The southbound Monday-to-Friday morning bus operates along its regular route to Ritson Road North and Beatrice Street East, then detours:

southward along Ritson;
eastward along Rossland Road East; and then
northward along Wilson Road North to Attersley Drive,
resuming its regular route eastward along Attersley.

436 Eastdale High School Special

The northbound Monday-to-Friday afternoon bus operates along its regular route to Attersley Drive and Wilson Road North, then detours:

southward along Wilson;
westward along Rossland Road East;
northward along Ritson Road North to Beatrice Street East,
resuming its regular route westward along Beatrice.
