TTC rejects random drug testing policy



At its meeting on Thursday, the Toronto Transit Commission rejected a proposal to randomly test drivers, mechanics and maintenance workers for drug use.

The Commission did, however, approve a policy of testing for drug and alcohol when the TTC hires an employee, when an employee is involved in an accident and in other circumstances.
