Yesterday, Thursday, October 9, the City of Toronto narrowed the roadway on Avenue Road, just north of Bloor Street West to just one lane northbound and one lane southbound.
The lane restrictions will accommodate Toronto Hydro construction in the intersection of Avenue and Bloor and will continue for several weeks.
Passengers traveling on TTC buses operating on the 5 Avenue Road and 142 Downtown - Avenue Road Express routes should expect delays.
