Guelph construction affects transit this week



The City of Guelph will close Woodlawn Road West between Edinburgh Road North and Nicklin Road during a project to connect services this week.

Guelph Transit will detour buses operating on the 7 Saint Joseph’s Hospital, 70A Perimeter (counterclockwise) and 70B Perimeter (clockwise) routes during the project.

70A Perimeter (counterclockwise)

From Tuesday, October 14 until Friday, October 17, buses operate along their regular route to Woodlawn Road and Woolwich Street North, then detour:

southward along Woolwich;
westward along Speedvale Avenue West; and then
northward along Edinburgh Road North to Woodlawn Road West,
resuming their regular route westward along Woodlawn.

70B Perimeter (clockwise)

From Tuesday, October 14 until Friday, October 17, buses operate along their regular route to Woodlawn Road West and Edinburgh Road North, then detour:

southward along Edinburgh;
eastward along Speedvale Avenue West; and then
northward along Woolwich Street North to Woodlawn,
resuming their regular route eastward along Woodlawn Road East.

7 Saint Joseph’s Hospital

From Tuesday, October 14 until Friday, October 17, inbound buses (inbound buses travel toward downtown Guelph) operate along their regular route to Woodlawn Road West and Edinburgh Road North, then detour:

southward along Edinburgh; and then
eastward along Burns Drive to Nicklin Road,
resuming their regular route southward along Nicklin.
