Tonight, Thursday, October 16, Viva is hosting a Toronto public consultation centre on extending the Yonge subway northward beyond Finch Station to Highway 7. During the meeting you can find out about the proposed subway route, stations and other details.
Metrolinx recently released its draft regional transportation plan which identifed extending the Yonge subway as a priority project. The York Rapid Transit Corporation (Viva) is leading this project and the City of Toronto, the TTC and the Region of York are participating in the project.
