Oakwood - St. Clair construction
affects TTC bus service



On Monday, October 20, the TTC and the City of Toronto will start to rebuild the streetcar track right-of-way at the intersection of Oakwood Avenue and St. Clair Avenue West and the nearby Oakwood streetcar loop.

The TTC will detour buses operating on the 63 Ossington (main route to and from Eglinton West Station), 63A Ossington (short-turn branch to and from St. Clair), 161 Rogers Road and 316 Ossington (overnight) routes during the project. Buses operating on the 312 St.Clair (overnight) and 512 St. Clair services will operate along their regular routes.


63 **Ossington** (main route to and from Eglinton West Station) > From Monday, **October 20** until Sunday, **October 27**, **southbound** buses operate along their regular route to Oakwood and Glenhurst Avenues, then detour: > **eastward** along Glenhurst; >
**southward** along Winona Avenue; and then >
**westward** along St. Clair Avenue West to Oakwood, >
resuming their regular route **southward** along Oakwood. > **Northbound** buses operate along their regular route to Oakwood Avenue and St. Clair Avenue West, then detour: > **westward** along St. Clair; >
**northward** along Glenholme Avenue; and then >
**eastward** along Conway Avenue to Oakwood, >
resuming their regular route **northward** along Oakwood.

63A Ossington (short-turn branch to and from St. Clair)

From Monday, October 20 until Sunday, November 2, southbound buses start their trips at St. Clair Avenue West and Oakwood Avenue (instead of at Oakwood Loop) and proceed along their regular route southward along Oakwood.

Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Oakwood and Rosemont Avenues, then detour:

westward along Rosemont;
northward along Glenholme Avenue; and then
eastward along St. Clair Avenue West to Oakwood,
ending their trips.

316 Ossington (overnight)
161 Rogers Road

From Monday, October 20 until Sunday, October 27, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Oakwood and Glenhurst Avenues, then detour:

eastward along Glenhurst;
southward along Winona Avenue; and then
westward along St. Clair Avenue West to Oakwood,
resuming their regular route southward along Oakwood.

Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Oakwood Avenue and St. Clair Avenue West, then detour:

westward along St. Clair;
northward along Glenholme Avenue; and then
eastward along Conway Avenue to Oakwood,
resuming their regular route northward along Oakwood.

The project to rebuild the streetcar track right-of-way at Oakwood and St. Clair is a key part of Phase 3 of the ongoing City of Toronto and TTC project to build a dedicated light rail right-of-way along St. Clair. You can read more about the project here.
