Guelph Transit buses detour today

From 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. today, Wednesday, October 22, the City of Guelph will close Nicklin Road between Brentwood Drive and Bailey Avenue for a wastewater project.

Guelph Transit will detour buses on the 7 St. Joseph’s Hospital route while the road is closed.

Inbound buses (heading toward downtown) operate along their regular route to Nicklin Road and Brentwood Drive, then detour:

westward along Brentwood; and then
south-, east and northward along Nicklin Crescent to Bailey Avenue,
resuming their regular route eastward along Bailey.

Guelph Transit also detoured buses on the 7 St. Joseph’s Hospital route last week during a similar project along Woodlawn Road West.
