GO construction affects boarding and exiting
at Richmond Hill starting on Monday

Starting Monday, October 27, construction will affect the way that passengers on GO Transit’s 61 Richmond Hill trains will board or leave cars at Richmond Hill GO Station.

In the morning, board only the first eight cars closest to the locomotive. The train crews will leave the doors on standby, so you can open the doors manually by pushing the buttons to the left of each door.

In the afternoon, crews will only open the doors of the first 5 cars from the locomotive. Board only those cars or make sure you’ve moved to one of those cars before you arrive in Richmond Hill.

GO has cordoned off part of the platform while work crews excavate before building a double bicycle shelter at the station.
