Guelph construction affects transit this week



The City of Guelph will repave Eramosa Road between Stevenson Street and Speedvale Avenue East starting today, Monday, October 10.

Guelph Transit will detour buses on the 8 General Hospital, 61 Victor Davis, 70A Perimeter (counterclockwise) and 70B Perimeter (clockwise) routes during the project.

8 General Hospital

From Monday, October 10 until Wednesday, October 12, inbound buses operate along their regular route.

Outbound buses operate along their regular route to Eramosa Road and Stevenson Street, then detour:

northward along Stevenson Street North;
eastward along Speedvale Avenue East; and then
southward along Newstead Street to Eramosa,
resuming their regular route northeastward along Eramosa.

70A Perimeter (counterclockwise)

From Monday, October 10 until Wednesday, October 12, buses travel along their regular route to Victoria Road North and Speedvale Avenue East, then detour:

westward along Speedvale;
southward along Renfield Street;
southeastward along Sherwood Drive;
southward along Callendar Drive; and then
eastward along Tobey Avenue to Victoria,
resuming their regular route southward along Victoria.

70B Perimeter (clockwise)

From Monday, October 10 until Wednesday, October 12, buses travel along their regular route to Victoria Road North and Tobey Avenue, then detour:

westward along Tobey;
northward along Callendar Drive;
northwestward along Sherwood Drive;
northward along Renfield Street; and then
eastward along Speedvale Avenue East to Victoria,
resuming their regular route northward along Victoria.

61 Victor Davis

From Monday, October 10 until Wednesday, October 12, inbound buses operate along their regular route to Victoria Road North and Tobey Avenue, then detour:

westward along Tobey; and then
northward along Callendar Drive to Eramosa Road,
resuming their regular route southwestward along Eramosa.

Outbound buses operate along their regular route.


Inbound buses travel toward downtown.
Outbound buses travel away from downtown.
