Oakville Transit revises service,
December 8

Update — December 5, 12:04 a.m.: this post now describes Oakville Transit’s revised routing for the 22 Upper Glen Abbey West service.

On Monday, December 8, Oakville Transit revises service on the 10 West Industrial (South), 22 Upper Glen Abbey West and 110 West Industrial (North) routes.

22 Upper Glen Abbey West

Starting Monday, December 8, Oakville Transit revises the route.

Southbound buses operate along their regular route.

Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Upper Middle Road and Postmaster Drive, then proceed:

northward along Postmaster;
eastward along Pine Glen Road;
southward along Third Line and
around the West Oak Village Long-Term Care Facility; and then
northward along Third Line to Pine Glen,
resuming their regular route eastward along Pine Glen.

You can see a map of the route here.

110 West Industrial (North)
10 West Industrial (South)

Oakville Transit split its 10 West Industrial route into two routes on November 12, 2007 during a long-term Ontario Ministry of Transport project to rebuild the Fourth Line overpass across the Queen Elizabeth Way.

The project recently ended and traffic is again traveling across the overpass. OT originally planned to resume service along a single 10 West Industrial route on Monday, December 8, but passengers have requested that buses continue to operate along separate routes.

Buses continue to operate along the 10 West Industrial (South) on the current schedule. However, starting Monday, December 8, OT operates fewer trips along the 110 West Industrial (North) route.

Eastbound buses leave Bronte GO Station at 7:30, 8:15 and 9:05 a.m. and 4:05, 4:50 and 5:35 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Buses arrive at Oakville GO Station at 7:50 and 8:35 a.m. and 4:25, 5:15 and 6 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.

Westbound buses leave Oakville GO Station at 7:10, 7:55 and 8:45 a.m. and 4:30 and 5:15 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Buses arrive at Bronte GO Station at 7:30, 8:15 and 9:05 a.m. and 4:05, 4:50 and 5:35 p.m. Mondays to Fridays.
