Thanks to Transit Toronto reader Will Waugh for the “heads up”.
Blog TO reports that some TTC riders got a sneak look at new display signs at Spadina Station yesterday.
The signs harness the GPS (global positioning system) inside streetcars operating along the 510 Spadina route to let riders know how long before the next streetcar arrives — and where to find all cars operating along the route.
The TTC was testing the signs yesterday and they are now out of service. Watch for an official announcement from the TTC launching the new signs soon.
In the meantime, read the article in Blog TO here.
