Scarborough RT shut down; shuttle buses operating

Update — 12:31 p.m.: Regular service has resumed again.

Update — 11:08 a.m.: Passengers and the TTC’s e-Alert system again report that the TTC has shut down the 3 Scarborough rapid transit line because of a fire on a rapid transit car at Ellesmere Station.

Shuttle buses are replacing the RT.

Update — 9:11 a.m.: Regular service has resumed.

Various passengers and the TTC’s e-Alert system report that the TTC has shut down the 3 Scarborough rapid transit line because of a problem with a switch.
