HSR detours buses off Stinson Street, starting February 9

The City of Hamilton is closing Stinson Street between Victoria Avenue North and Wellington Street South to install new watermains. The project starts on Monday, February 9 and the City expects to finish on Saturday, February 28.

The Hamilton Street Railway is detouring buses operating along the 5 Delaware, 5B Main West, 5C West Hamilton and 52 Dundas routes during the project.

5 Delaware

Starting Monday, February 9, buses operate along their regular route to Wellington Street South and Stinson Street, then detour:

southward along Wellington;
eastward along Young Street; and then
northward along Victoria Avenue North to Stinson,
resuming their regular route eastward along Stinson.

5C West Hamilton

Starting Monday, February 9, buses operate along their regular route to Stinson Street and Victoria Avenue South, then detour:

northward along Victoria;
westward along King Street East; and then
southward along Wellington Street South to Hunter Street East,
resuming their regular route westward along Hunter.
