Family Day holiday service, February 16



Monday, February 16 will be the second time that Ontarians have celebrated the second Monday in February as Family Day. Since Family Day is a statutory holiday in Ontario, many people will have a day off work and elementary, secondary and post-secondary institutions will be closed. Transit agencies are adjusting services for the day.

Barrie Transit — Hourly Sunday schedules with service starting at 9 a.m. All service will end at 7:15 p.m.

B.A.C.T.S. (Barrie Accessible Community Transportation Service) — Sunday service, 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Brampton Transit — Sunday / holiday schedules

Burlington Transit — Sunday schedules

Burlington Transit Handi-Van — Sunday service, 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

D.A.R.T.S ([Hamilton] Disabled and Aged Regional Transportation System) — Statutory holiday service, 9:30 a.m. until 11 p.m.

Durham Region Transit

Ajax, Clarington, Pickering, Oshawa, Whitby — Sunday, holiday schedules
Brock, Scugog, Uxbridge — No service

DRT Specialized Services — Holiday service, 8 a.m. until 10 p.m.

GO Transit — Saturday schedules

Guelph Transit — Sunday and holiday schedules

Guelph Transit Mobility Service — Sunday and holiday hours, 9:15 a.m. until 6:15 p.m.

Halton Hills Acti-van — Holiday service available only if passengers reserve trips 48 hours earlier
