The University of Guelph and McMaster University hold no classes next week during mid-winter break or reading week. Guelph Transit and the Hamilton Street Railway are canceling extra service to the two institutions for the week.
Guelph Transit
Friday, February 13 is the last day until Monday, February 23 that GT operates buses along these routes:
50 Stone Road Express
55 University / College
56 Rickson Express
57 Harvard Express
58 Edinburgh ExpressLate-night shuttle bus services continue to operate this weekend, but will not operate next weekend.
GT operates buses along these late-night routes until about 3 a.m. on Sunday, February 16. Service does not resume until 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday, February 25:
North London - Elizabeth Loop
Scottsdale - Kortright Loop
West Hanlon LoopGY operates buses along this late-night route until about 3 a.m. on Sunday, February 16. Service does not resume until 12:15 a.m. on Thursday, February 26.
Downtown Shuttle
Buses on all other Guelph Transit routes that serve the University of Guelph continue to operate throughout the break. All GO Transit buses that serve the University continue to operate.
Hamilton Street Railway
Saturday, February 14 is the last day until Monday, February 23 that the HSR operates buses along this route:

Buses on all other HSR routes that serve McMaster University continue to operate. All GO Transit buses that serve McMaster also continue to operate during the break.
The HSR will also continue to operate buses along the Redeemer University College Shuttle route during the break. Although no classes take place, many students live in residents on this remote campus without alternate transit service.
All other transit agencies in the Greater Toronto Area and Hamilton maintain regular service to all university campuses throughout the mid-winter break. York University does not offer a mid-winter break this year as a result of the recent strike by teaching staff.
