The Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting Wednesday, February 18 at 1 p.m. in Committee Room 2, 2nd Floor, City Hall, 100 Queen Street West.
Among many other items, the Commission will consider staff reports:
- reviewing the status of the various Transit City projects. (You can read the staff report here (.pdf).)
- reviewing the feasibility of restoring trolley bus service to Toronto. (You can read the staff report here (.pdf) and the appendix to the report here. (.pdf)
- reviewing the status of the TTC’s 2008 accessibility plan. (You can read the staff report here (.pdf) and the appendix to the report here (.pdf).) (The TTC started operating accessible buses on 13 more routes on Sunday, February 15.)
- reviewing ongoing TTC staff efforts to improve service on the 501 Queen streetcar route, and the related 502 Downtowner, 503 Kingston Rd and 508 Lake Shore routes. (You can read the staff report here (.pdf.))
- asking the Commission to approve the stopping pattern of express buses operating on the 39 Finch East route. (The TTC changed the stopping pattern on February 19, 2008.) The report recommends making the February, 2008 changes permanent, but also resuming a stop for express buses at the intersection of Finch Avenue East with Wayside Avenue and Adirondack Gate.
