Guelph Transit revises service, March 23



Guelph Transit is revising service along the 1 Woodlawn route to serve passengers traveling to and from the Trillium Waldorf School on Victoria Road North. It also recently extended the 4 York Road route to serve passengers traveling to and from the Royal Canadian Legion John McCrae Memorial Branch 234.


1 Woodlawn

Starting Monday, March 23, GT operates six daily trips along a revised route, two buses during Monday-to-Friday morning rush hours, two buses during the noon hour and two buses during the afternoon rush hours.

Buses leaving St. George’s Square at 8 and 8:20 a.m., noon,12:20, 3 and 3:20 p.m. operate along their regular route to Woodlawn Road East and Inverness Drive, then proceed:

northward along Inverness;
eastward along Simmonds Drive;
southward along Victoria Road North; and then
westward along Woodlawn East to Inverness,
resuming their regular route westward along Woodlawn.

The buses arrive at Trillium Waldorf School at 8:20 and 8:40 a.m., 12:20, 12:40, 3:20 and 3:40 p.m.

All other buses operate along the regular route eastward along Woodlawn Road West between Victoria Road North and Woolwich Street.

4 York Road

Recently buses operating along this route started to drop off passengers at the door of the Royal Canadian Legion branch at 919 York Road, five days a week. The buses drop off passengers Sundays, from 12:15 until 6:15 p.m., Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6:15 until 10:45 p.m. and Saturdays from 12:15 p.m. until 12:15 a.m. Guelph Transit does not operate the drop-off service on Mondays and Fridays.
