The TTC and the City of Toronto are hosting another series of open houses on improving transit services along Kingston Road west of Guildwood Parkway (Eglinton Avenue East).
During this series of events, project staff will present the route and type of service they prefer. They’ve chosen bus rapid transit, reserving the centre lane for buses to travel along Kingston Road and Danforth Avenue to Victoria Park Avenue. The buses would operate in mixed traffic along Victoria Park between Danforth Avenue and Victoria Park Station on the 2 Bloor - Danforth subway.
Buses traveling along the rapid transit line would start and end their trips and connect with the future Scarborough - Malvern light rail Transit City line and GO Transit’s 09 Lakeshore East line at Guildwood GO Station.
You can drop by one of three events to learn more about the plans, talk to project staff and offer your comments, suggestions and ideas.
All events take place from 6 until 8:30 p.m.
