GO Transit generally operates extra buses along routes serving universities and colleges on Friday afternoons and evenings. The extra buses help students who are studying outside of their home cities and towns to travel homeward for the weekend.
This week, since Good Friday, April 10 is a holiday, GO is operating these extra “Friday-only” trips on Thursday, April 9.

47D Bramalea - York U
31 GeorgetownThe westbound GO buses that usually leave York University at 4:55 and 5:25 p.m. on Fridays leave on Thursday, April 9 this week. The buses arrive at Bramalea GO Station at 4:25 and 5:55 p.m.
GO buses do not operate along any of the routes in the Highway 407 corridor on Good Friday, April 10.
47B McMaster - Square OneThe eastbound buses that usually leave the University of Guelph at 1:55 and 4:55 p.m. on Fridays, leave on Thursday April 9 this week. The buses arrive at the Downtown Brampton Bus Terminal at 3:20 and 5:20 p.m.

47E McMaster - Oakville Carpool LotThe eastbound GO buses that usually leave the McMaster University Bus Terminal at 1:10, 1:35, 2:10 and 6:10 p.m. on Fridays leave on Thursday, April 9 this week. The buses travel without stopping and arrive at Square One at 1:45, 2:10, 2:45 and 6:50 p.m. Buses will not resume these trips until September.

45A Square One - York UThe eastbound GO buses that usually leave the McMaster University Bus Terminal at 1:40, 2:35, 3, 3:25, 3:55 p.m. on Fridays leave on Thursday, April 9 this week. The buses stop at the Burlington and Bronte Road carpool lots and arrive at the Oakville carpool lot at Trafalgar Road and Highway 407 at 2:10, 3:10, 3:35, 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Buses will not resume these trips until September.

The westbound buses that usually leave York University at 12:45, 1:15, 4:25, 4:55, 5:25, 5:45, 6:15, 6:45, 9:15 and 9:45 p.m. on Fridays, leave on Thursday, April 9 this week. The buses arrive at Square One at 1:15. 1:45, 5:05, 6:05, 6:25, 6:50, 7:15, 9:45 and 10:15 p.m.
GO buses do not operate along any of the routes in the Highway 407 corridor on Good Friday, April 10.
