Usually, GO Transit reduces the number of bus trips operating to universities and colleges — including York University — after the second week of April.
This year, because of the lengthy strike by teaching staff at York, the academic term is continuing until Friday, May 22. All GO Transit buses that currently serve York will continue to operate until that date.
GO is, however, reducing some of its services to McMaster University and Durham College / University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT).
