York Region Transit and Viva buses won’t be stopping at the westbound Main Street Markham vivastation at the northwest corner of Highway 7 and Main Street starting Monday, April 20 for about two weeks due to construction. Although buses won’t stop, the shelter and vivaNow vending machine will remain open and accessible at all times.
Until the vivastation re-opens, YRT buses operating along the 1 Highway 7 route and Viva purple buses serve a temporary stop at the northeast corner of Highway 7 and Main. Passengers must buy and validate fares at the northwest vivastation.
