this weekend

The City of Toronto is closing the Don Valley Parkway from 2 a.m. on Saturday, April 25 until 5 a.m. on Monday, April 27 to conduct its annual spring maintenance.

southward along Yonge Street;
westward along Lake Shore Boulevard West and the F. G. Gardiner Expressway;

resuming their regular routes.

90B Oshawa - Union

The westbound buses leaving Oshawa GO Station at 4:40 a.m. Saturday, April 25, Sunday, April 26 and Monday, April 27 and 5:40 a.m. Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26 likely operate along their regular route to Highway 401 and the Don Valley Parkway, then continue:

While the Parkway is closed, City work crews will:

  • clean the catchbasins to make sure that they drain properly;
  • mark pavement and maintain signs;
  • repair guardrails and asphalt;
  • survey the pavement to evaluate its condition;
  • maintain closed-circuit TV cameras;
  • maintain hydro transmission structures;
