GO, TTC resume Wonderland service, May 3



Starting on opening day, Sunday, May 3, GO Transit and the TTC are resuming their seasonal service to Canada’s Wonderland.

Starting Sunday, May 3, southbound buses leave Wonderland every hour from 1 until 5 p.m. and every 30 minutes from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays until Friday, May 15.

Buses operate along Highways 400 and 401 without stopping until they arrive at Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal twenty minutes after they leave Wonderland. They then continue without stopping along Highway 401 and Yonge Street to York Mills GO Bus Terminal, ending their trips 30 minutes after they leave Wonderland.

Northbound buses leave York Mills GO Bus Terminal every 30 minutes from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and every hour from 1 until 7 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until Friday, May 15

Buses operate along Yonge Street and Highway 401 without stopping until they arrive at Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal ten minutes after they leave York Mills. They then continue without stopping along Highways 401 and 400 to Wonderland, ending their trips 30 minutes after they leave York Mills.

GO revises the schedule on Saturday, May 16, when it starts to operate buses seven days a week.

165 Weston Rd North

Starting Sunday, May 3, the TTC resumes its 165A Weston Rd North branch between Wonderland and York Mills Station on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays until October.

(On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, buses operating on the 165A branch replace service on the 165D branch to the loop at Highway 400 and Major Mackenzie Drive.)

Southbound buses operating on the route start their trips beside the Wonderland employee’s entrance then leave the park by the Jane Street access gate north of Major Mackenzie Drive. They then continue:

southward along Jane;
westward along Major Mackenzie;
southward along Weston Road;
through the Weston / Albion Road / Walsh Avenue interchange;
southeastward along Albion and Walsh;
eastward along Wilson Avenue,
passing through Wilson Station; and then continuing
eastward along Wilson to York Mills Station.

Northbound buses reverse this route.

Buses serve all stops along the route and operate about every 30 minutes from 5:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. Saturdays, 8:40 a.m. until 8 p.m. Sundays and 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. holidays.


York Region Transit resumed its seven-day-a-week local service to the park on Sunday, April 26 on the 4 Major Mackenzie and 20 Jane-Concord routes.

(Buses operating on the 4 Major Mackenzie route do not enter the Wonderland terminal this year — buses pick up and drop off passengers at stops along Jane Street beside Wonderland.)


Brampton Transit resumes its 66 Wonderland Express service between the Bramalea Terminal and Wonderland on Saturday, May 16. Buses operate on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays only until late June, when they start operating seven days a week.

Mississauga Transit resumes its 288 Wonderland Express service between the Mississauga City Centre Terminal at Square One and Wonderland on Saturday, May 16. Buses will operate on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays only until late June, when they start operating seven days a week.
