Operating engineers at the University of Toronto — members of the Canadian Auto Workers’ Local 2003 — are on strike against the university.
During the strike, transit vehicles do not have access to the campuses, so local transit agencies are arranging to pick up and drop off passengers at alternative locations.
The strike affects bus service to U of T’s Mississauga and Scarborough Campuses on these routes:
GO Transit — 50 U of T Scarborough - Centennial College; 51 Pickering - York U.
Mississauga Transit — 1C Dundas - Collegeway; 44 Mississauga Road; 110 University.
TTC — 38 Highland Creek; 38A Highland Creek; 116E Morningside Express; 354 Lawrence East overnight; 95B York Mills; 95 York Mills Express.

GO is setting up temporary stops on Military Trail, in front of U of T Scarborough to pick up and drop off passengers from west- and eastbound buses.
