At a ceremony celebrating the start of Bike Month tomorrow, TTC chairman Adam Giambrone will announce that 18 more bus routes will now feature bike racks on the front of their buses, allowing bikers to easily store their two-wheelers while they take transit.

The announcement brings the total number of bike-friendly surface routes on the TTC to 89, with all of the TTC’s surface routes expected to be bike-friendly by 2012.

The ceremony takes place at Nathan Phillips Square at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, during which time, Mr. Giambrone will demonstrate how to place a bicycle on the bus bike rack.
