QEW construction results in Oakville Transit detours,
June 1 to 4



Next week, the Ontario Ministry of Transportation’s ongoing project to widen and improve the Queen Elizabeth Way through Burlington and Oakville and install high-occupancy vehicle lanes will require the Town of Oakville to close Kerr Street at the QEW bridge.

Oakville Transit is detouring bus service while the bridge is closed.

28 Glen Abbey North

Inbound buses operate along their regular route.

From Monday, June 1 until Thursday, June 4, outbound buses operate along their regular route to Speers Road and Kerr Street, then detour:

westward along Speers; and then
northward along Dorval Drive to North Service Road,
resuming their regular route westward along North Service.

18 Glen Abbey South

From Monday, June 1 until Thursday, June 4, inbound buses operate along their regular route to North Service Road and Dorval Drive, then detour:

southward along Dorval; and then
eastward along Speers Road to Kerr Street,
resuming their regular route eastward along Speers.

Outbound buses operate along their regular route.


Inbound buses operate toward Oakville GO Station.

Outbound buses operate away from Oakville GO Station.
