Hurontario / Main Street rapid transit project:
open houses, June 10 and 17

Update — July 31: You can view the display panels from the open houses here.

You can find out how a Hurontario rapid transit line will affect you when the Cities of Brampton and Mississauga host two open houses community workshops on the proposed rapid transit line along the Hurontario / Main Street corridor.

During the open houses you can review the various options for introducing rapid transit in the corridor, talk to City staff and offer your comments and ideas on the proposal.

The events take place:

Monday, June 10
Mississauga Civic Centre,
300 City Centre Drive
from 5 until 9 p.m.

Monday, June 17
Brampton City Hall,
2 Wellington Street West
from 6 until 9 p.m.

Rapid transit along the Hurontario / Main Street corridor is a priority project of The Big Move, the Metrolinx regional transportation plan for the Greater Toronto Area and Hamilton. It is also a priority project of Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty’s vision of transportation in the Greater Golden Horseshoe, the MoveOntario 2020 plan.
