The City of Toronto is closing Yonge Street at Bloor Street from 7 p.m. on Friday, July 10 until 6 a.m. on Monday, July 13. The City is closing the intersection so that construction crews can work on the next phase of the ongoing project to improve the streetscape along Bloor Streets East and West between Church and Bay Streets.
The TTC is detouring bus service while Yonge Street is closed.

Early Saturday, July 11, Sunday, July 12 and Monday, July 13, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Yonge Street and Yorkville Avenue, then detour:
westward along Yorkville;
southward along Bay Street; and then
eastward along St. Mary’s Street to Yonge,
resuming their regular route southward along Yonge.Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Yonge and Charles Streets, then detour:
westward along Charles Street West;
northward along Bay Street; and then
eastward along Davenport Road to Yonge,
resuming their regular route northward along Yonge.
