The Region of Durham is rebuilding sidewalks and curbs along Kingston Road (Regional Highway 2) between Salem and Audley Roads in Ajax, starting today, Tuesday, July 21.

During the project, eastbound GO Transit buses operating along the 94 Oshawa Highway 2 route won’t be picking up and dropping off passengers at the stop on the south side of Kingston Road opposite WalMart. Instead buses serve passengers from a temporary stop at Salem Road, 200 meters west of the regular stop.

The construction may also delay Durham Region Transit buses operating along the 225 Audley North, 235 Puckrin, 235B Puckrin - Elm and 282 Applecroft - Nottingham - Audley North routes.

Buses resume regular service on Monday, August 3.
