The City of Hamilton is closing parts of Barton Street East from 9 a.m. on Monday, August 17 until 9 p.m. on Friday, August 21 while a film crew shoots scenes.
From 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. each day, the City will close Barton East between Barnesdale Avenue North and Lottridge Street to all traffic except for emergency vehicles and buses. From 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. each day, the City will close Barton East completely between Gage and Sherman Avenues North, so the Hamilton Street Railway is detouring buses.

From 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday, August 17, Tuesday, August 18, Wednesday, August 19, Thursday, August 20 and Friday, August 21, passengers traveling in both directions should expect delays.
After 9 p.m. on Monday, August 17, Tuesday, August 18, Wednesday, August 19 and Thursday, August 20 and before 6 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, Wednesday, August 19, Thursday, August 20 and Friday, August 21, westbound buses operate along their regular route to Barton Street East and Gage Avenue North, then detour:
southward along Gage North;
westward along Cannon Street East; and then
northward along Sherman Avenue North to Barton East,
resuming their regular route westward along Barton.Buses drop off and pick up passengers at temporary stops on Gage and Sherman Avenues North, just south of Barton Street East and at regular stops for buses operating along the 3 Cannon route on Cannon Street East at Balsam Avenue North, Lottridge Street, Barnesdale and Sherman Avenues North.
After 9 p.m. on Monday, August 17, Tuesday, August 18, Wednesday, August 19 and Thursday, August 20 and before 6 a.m. on Tuesday, August 18, Wednesday, August 19, Thursday, August 20 and Friday, August 21, eastbound buses operate along their regular route to Barton Street East and Sherman Avenue North, then detour:
northward along Sherman North;
eastward along Lansdowne Avenue;
southward along Lottridge Street;
eastward along Lloyd Street; and then
southward along Gage Avenue North to Barton East,
resuming their regular route eastward along Barton.Buses drop off and pick up passengers at temporary stops on Sherman Avenue North, north of Barton Street East and on Lloyd Street east of Lottridge Street and at Gage North.
