Construction along Kingston Road delays DRT buses in Ajax

Starting today, the Region of Durham is restricting the number of lanes for traffic along Regional Highway 2 (Kingston Road) between Audley Road and Wicks Drive. The lane restrictions result from the Region’s ongoing project to rebuild the roadway.

The work affects Durham Region Transit service until mid-September.

From Monday, August 17 until Friday, September 11, passengers should expect delays and plan extra time for their trips.

GO Transit moved its bus stops along Kingston Road because of the same construction on July 21.
