Update — September 6: TTC staff presented five route options at the open house. They prefer a route that continues along Eglinton Avenue West between Martin Grove Road and Commerce Drive, Commerce Drive, an overpass across Highway 401, Convair Drive and Silver Dart Drive to the airport.
LRT cars would stop at The East Mall, around Rangoon Road (a pedestrian bridge would carry passengers to the residential area south of Eglinton), Renforth Drive, Commerce Drive, Convair and Silver Dart Drives.
The LRT trains would connect with the Mississauga Busway at Commerce Drive.

TTC and City of Toronto staff are hosting one more open house to present their plans for the Eglinton - Crosstown light rail Transit City line on Wednesday, September 2.
The event (PDF here) focuses on the portion of the line between Martin Grove and the Airport, detailing various options and identifying the preferred route.
The 31-kilometer-long line will stretch from Toronto Pearson International Airport to Kennedy Station on the TTC’s 2 Bloor - Danforth subway and 3 Scarborough rapid transit lines and the future Scarborough Malvern light rapid Transit City line.
Passengers traveling along the Eglinton - Crosstown LRT will be able to connect with other future Transit City lines along Jane Street and Don Mills Road, the Mississauga Transit / GO Transit bus rapid transit line and the the TTC’s current 1 Yonge - University - Spadina subway at Eglinton and Eglinton West Stations. Also, at the Airport, the line will meet the future Metrolinx / GO Union - Pearson Rail Link and, possibly, depending on the final route, the future Etobicoke - Finch West Transit City light rail transit line. A future rail station in the Mount Dennis Community may also allow Eglinton - Crosstown passengers to transfer to GO’s Georgetown line and the Union - Pearson link.
The TTC and City plan to open the new line in 2016 and expect that the line will carry 51 million passengers every year.
The open house takes place from 6:30 until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2 at the Etobicoke Olympium (Olympic Lounge Second floor), 590 Rathburn Road, just west of Renforth Drive.
