Buses detour during Caledonia / St. Clair construction,
September 5

This weekend, TTC and the City of Toronto contractors are repaving the roadway at the intersection of Caledonia Road / Caledonia Park Road and St. Clair Avenue West, as they finish another phase of building the new streetcar tracks along St. Clair West.

The TTC is detouring buses operating on the 47B and 47C Lansdowne branches operating to and from Yorkdale Station during the project. The construction does not affect buses operating on the 47 branch (main route to and from St. Clair Avenue), which continue to turn through Earlscourt Loop. Buses operating on the 312 St.Clair (overnight) and 512 St. Clair services operate along their regular routes.

47B / C Lansdowne

From 6 a.m. until about 3 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, southbound buses operating from Yorkdale Station proceed along their regular route to Caledonia and Rogers Roads, then detour:

eastward along Rogers;
southward along Old Weston Road; and then
westward along St. Clair Avenue West to Lansdowne Avenue,
resuming their regular route southward along Lansdowne.

Southbound buses reverse the detour routing.

This work at Caledonia and St. Clair is a key part of Phase 3 of the ongoing City of Toronto and TTC project to build a dedicated light rail right-of-way along St. Clair. You can read more about the project here and here.
