More accessible buses along more Brampton routes,
starting September 8

Starting tomorrow, Tuesday, September 8, Brampton Transit is operating accessible buses along four more routes, bringing the total number of accessible routes to 29 out of 37 routes.

Only low-floor buses with extendable access ramps and two reserved spaces for wheelchairs or scooters will serve stops along the 25 Edenbrook, 21 Heart Lake, 77 Highway 7 and 24 Van Kirk routes after Tuesday.

Also starting Tuesday, September 8, BT:

  • operates buses later along the 25 Edenbrook route;
  • increases service to York University along the 77 Highway 7 route;
  • revises the 24 Van Kirk route; and
  • makes many other changes to its routes and services.
