GO buses detour around farmers market in Peterborough

GO Transit service to Peterborough only started yesterday and already it’s facing its first detour.

Buses operating detour around the Ontario Farm Gate Sales Association’s downtown Peterborough farmers’ market today and every Wednesday until October. The market occupies Charlotte Street between George Street North and Water Street Wednesdays.

Southbound buses operate along their regular route.


Northbound buses operate along their regular route to Charlotte Street and Aylmer Street North, then detour:

southward along Aylmer North;
eastward along Sherbrooke Street; and then
northward along Water Street to Charlotte,
resuming their regular route northward along Water.
