Your feedback helps YRT to review its services, improve how buses operate along their routes and increase the number of people who ride pubic transit vehicles in York Region.

The public information centres also give you an opportunity to find out what YRT has planned for your local area, including:

  • how YRT proposes to change routes;
  • how YRT plans to expand service; and
  • how YRT intends to improve service in general.

You can also ask questions, discuss the proposed plans with YRT staff and offer your feedback and ideas.

This year, YRT staff are also working on the next five-year plan for transit services in York Region.

The new five-year plan updates the current service plan (2006-2010) and follows up PLAN09, YRT/Viva’s annual service plan for 2009.
