The City of Barrie, the Township of Springwater and the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority host this event on Saturday to salute a nine-mile aboriginal portage between Lake Simcoe and the Nottawasaga River at historic Fort Willow.

Barrie Transit is operating free shuttle bus service between Fort Willow and Memorial Square in Downtown Barrie from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 19.
