Update — October 6: Readers report that buses on the 89 Weston route resumed regular service at about 12:30 p.m. Buses operating along the 41 Keele route continued to detour until after 1:30 p.m.
Update — October 1: The City and TTC have postponed the project by one day. The TTC has rescheduled buses to detour from 6 a.m. on Saturday, October 3 until 7 a.m. on Tuesday, October 6.
This weekend, TTC and the City of Toronto contractors will rehabilitate the sidewalks and curbs along both sides of St. Clair Avenue West at Keele Street.
The City is closing Keele Street completely to through traffic, so the TTC must detour buses during the construction.
41 Keele
From 6 a.m. on Friday, October 2 until 9 a.m. on Monday, October 5, southbound buses operate along their regular route to Old Weston Road and St. Clair Avenue West, then detour:
southward along Old Weston; and then
westward along Junction Road to Keele Street,
resuming their regular route southward along Keele.Northbound buses reverse the routing.
